Job Description





Job Resposibilities:


* Prepare and submit warranty claims promptly and definitively to assure maximum reimbursement consideration for factory/OEM participation within factory required timelines.
* Review, monitor and update claims in process. Monitor claim aging report and advise branches of status. Review claim pending status to ensure timely payment. Process claim payments and submit to branches.
* Monitor all claim expense and advise branches of non-recovered items. Review non-recovered labor expense and advise branches of overages. Monitor factory labor guidelines compared to actual branch claim and submit to branches for review. Review warranty core aging and advise branches for warranty core processing to ensure timely submissions.
* Advise branches on claim procedures and updated requirements. Communicate claiming details to branches. Monitor factory claim guidelines and report changes to branches. Informs branches of claim results and core return status.
* Monitor Caterpillar parts return requirements at the branch level to ensure proper corporate reporting. Monitor claiming timeliness at the branch level to ensure Fabick remains within corporate guidelines.
* Other duties as required.

Education:


* High School Diploma or GED required
* Associates Degree or higher preferred

Experience:




* Previous warranty experience preferred
* Claim writing preferredRequired Knowledge and Skills:




* Knowledge of Caterpillar parts distribution required
* Strong mechanical ability required
* Excellent organization and communication skills required
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office required
* Ability to read through service reports and understand tasks that were completed
