Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist leads the dealership's online marketing strategy and presence across all digital channels and mediums, including marketing emails, blogs, websites and social media. Using a variety of tools, the Digital Marketing Specialist analyzes site usage trends and metrics and also evaluates and enhances the dealership's online presence and visibility in search results. The Digital Marketing Specialist partners with a team of marketing and advertising professionals and the Marketing Manager to develop content strategy and campaign calendars, and to execute and measure digital projects supporting sales and lead generation goals. As a subject matter expert, the Digital Marketing Specialist also educates internal dealer teams on digital marketing practices and proper use of social media.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship-builder, skilled in facilitating collaboration between dealership departments and with external parties. Strong project management and leadership skills are also critical, as the Digital Marketing Specialist directs campaigns for multiple digital channels simultaneously.


* Drive the dealership's social media and digital strategy, including content marketing, campaign calendars and presence across digital channels, and work to increase the company's visibility, generate qualified leads and enhance coverage activities.

* Empower the dealership to achieve customer satisfaction and financial targets by crafting innovative digital marketing campaigns, and collaborate with marketing, advertising and sales teams to bring these programs to life.
* Identify key target market segments and determine how each group uses digital channels and mediums, then use this knowledge to ensure that all channels deliver actionable content that generates interest and can be measured.
* Develop, implement and track compelling opt-in email marketing campaigns that enhance the dealership's coverage efforts and grow qualified leads.
* Manage the dealership's website, eCommerce site, blog and social media channels, hosting relevant content and monitoring activity and performance. Stay informed about emerging trends and behaviors in digital marketing as well as technologies and applications that could enhance the dealership's online presence and maximize ROI.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure the dealership's brand is correctly represented throughout digital campaigns to further the overall marketing strategy.
* Use marketing automation systems and design tools to assist with the creation and deployment of page layouts, content and graphics for digital campaigns.
* Lead SEO, SEM, link building and paid digital advertising efforts to drive traffic to the dealership's website and other online assets and use analysis tools to measure and improve results.
* Work closely with web developers and technical teams to use and manage digital assets and campaigns across channels, as well as to test and improve website usability and design for a seamless customer experience.
* Use strong project management skills to plan and deliver projects for various digital channels and mediums on-time and on-budget.

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or related bsiness study is required


* Expereinece in managing digital marketing and SEO stragegies required
* Five years of progressive experience in managing digital marketing and SEO strategies preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Excellent command of search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and keyword research required.
* Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, marketing automation software, Google AdWords and Google Analytics, as well as tools for data analysis and digital design required.
* Proven skills in written and verbal communications, planning, organizing, leadership and interpersonal relationship building required.
* Ability to read, interpret and explain documents such as monthly reports required
* Ability to write routine reports and effective correspondence for internal and external audiences required.
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees preferred.
* Ability to set and manage priorities for both individual and staff responsibilities and tasks preferred.
* Strong data analysis and visualization skills preferred.
* Ability to relate to all levels of employees and be a team player who motivates and educates other team members preferred.
