Job Description

Job Purpose:

This position will lead efforts to leverage telematics solutions to support and enable Fabick and its customers to better manage productivity, costs and maintenance on heavy equipment, on-highway trucks and engines through digital solutions. This position will quote, monitor, and manage all Customer Support Agreements (CSA) agreements with earthmoving customers. It will provide a check and balance system to the CSA process. This position will provide guidance and direction to the Condition Monitoring Center. This position will be responsible for the growth and financial objectives for these areas (connected assets and CSA contracts). This position will be a primary interface between Caterpillar, Fabick and customers for EMSolutions, VisionLink and ProductLink.


* Create and define goals, customer offerings and processes to increase the percentage of connected heavy equipment, on-highway trucks and engines.
* Create and define goals, customer offerings and processes to increase customers use, understanding and acceptance of Fabick's digital offerings. (examples: VisionLink, My.Cat.Com, Parts.Cat.Com, Electronic Log Books)
* Create and define customer offerings and processes to grown incremental parts and service sales resulting from EMSolutions and other digital platforms.
* Analyze the profitability of all CSA contracts (PM agreements, M&R contracts and bulk oil/fluids).
* The EMS manager will quote all CSA contracts and manage the tracking of the contract in DBS and Eagle operating systems. Coordinate the signed contracts being stored.
* The EMS manager will track the results of the CSA contracts monthly and follow-up with the appropriate service departments to make sure Fabick is performing CSA services on a timely and cost-effective basis.
* This position will develop standard CSA offerings for equipment and product support salesmen to quote and assist/participate in the selling process as required.
* This person will serve as the service DBS key user for product support.
* Manage and define the roles and responsibilities for the Condition Monitoring Center (CMC), Condition Monitoring Analysts and support staff.
* Work with the Product Support Sales Manager to market EMSolutions and CSAs to grow their sales and customer usage.

* High School diploma or GED is required.
* Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or Finance.
* 5 - 7 years Fabick service or product support experience.
* Strong accounting and mathematical abilities, analytical skills and decision making competencies.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Experience with DBS/AS400 and BMTS is preferred.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
* Must be detail oriented, organized, professional, motivated and hold excellent time management skills
* Must be able to travel as necessary to fulfill the requirement of the position
* Previous experience and knowledge in the GPS or telematics industry a plus
