Job Description

Job Summary:

The Condition Monitoring Analyst is responsible for data entry, accuracy, monitoring and advising on the health and utilization of customer and Fabick Cat equipment through the use of Vision Link software. Makes repair recommendations based on data collected electronically and through the inspection process.


* Set up new machines and new customers in VisionLink
* Analyze, review and maintain customer and machine database integrity
* Set up, maintain and analyze Inform Reports to make customer recommendations
* Monitor, maintain and analyze Fuelman and Fleetmatics invoices
* Lead the General Product Support Fleet administration (license renewals, IRP/UCR renal, maintain store fleet lists)
* Back-Up the condition monitoring analyst to review VisionLink alerts and make customer recommendations based on machine conditions and application
* Review and analyze work order history to determine standard job opportunities
* Set-up and administer Customer Service Agreement Contracts
* Create and maintain standard jobs. (Create parts and labor templates into company system for the use of technicians and sales team.)
* Customer visits to promote and sell Product Link & Visionlink Services
* Set-up and maintain susidy/marketing claims to Caterpillar
* All other duties as assigned

* Education:

* High School/GED
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Experience:

* Basic understanding of chemical analysis is preferred but not required
* Prior experience with heavy equipment operations or design
* Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Ability to quickly adapt to new processes and work under tight deadlines
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Advanced ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Ability to appropriately balance priorities and deadlines
* Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, Caterpillar, and other branch employees at all levels.
* Have the ability to review data and analysis and draw conclusions from the information
* Good customer communication/interaction skills
* Advanced skills in Excel are highly recommended
* GPS knowledge is a plus
