Job Description


* Pre-Sales Support including Review of Technical Specifications, Evaluation and Selection of Caterpillar and Vendor Equipment. Create Engineering Proposals and Technical Submittals.
* Project Management Responsibilities include:

* Management/Procurement of both Caterpillar and Vendor Material for assigned projects
* Manage Individual Project Costs to Ensure Acceptable Profitability
* Coordinate and Oversee Assembly of Engine Packages to Meet Scheduled Delivery of Equipment to Customers.
* Post-Sales Support: Schedule/Perform Commissioning Services, Assist with Required Project Close-out Documentation.
* Engineering Responsibilities Shall Include but not limited to: Ability to Design Fabricated / Machined parts (Engine Mounts / Bases, Brackets, Etc.), Create As-Built 3D Models / Drawings of Engine Packages, Create & Maintain Instructions for Package Assembly, Creating and Maintaining Accurate Bill of Materials for Engine Packages.
* Instruct shop technicians on engine package build up to meet end user specifications.

General Duties

* Customer Calls to Support Installation of Engine Packages, Assist Sales Dept. Personnel & Customers with Technical Data, Drawings, Application & Installation Request and Periodic Travel to Trade Shows/Industry Events.
* Other Duties and Responsibilities as Otherwise Requested by Management

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from four-year college or university
* A.A.S. Degree with one to two years related experience and/or training - or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Computer proficiency with Solid Works, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs required.
* Previous Experience with Diesel and Gas Engines/Engine Applications is preferred but not required.
* Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
