Job Description



Position Overview: To oversee the sales & operations function of a particular business segment. Plan, direct, or coordinate the sales & operations function.



Responsibilities:


* The Region Manager leads the region toward achieving revenue and profitability goals, growth objectives, market share penetration, operational excellence and employee satisfaction.
* Manage staff of sales representatives, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties and/or territory responsibilities.
* The Region Manager's responsibility is directing the establishment of goals and objectives for each Fabick Rents location.
* Additional responsibilities:
* In conjunction with Rental GM, establish financial goals for all regional rents locations.
* Coordinate and oversee broad region sales efforts and business initiatives, providing coaching and guidance to Rental Specialists.
* Collaborate with Rental GM and Fleet Director to improve fleet, evaluate market trends, key accounts/customers, business conditions and competitive practices.
* Conduct and present at Management Operations Reviews on various key metrics relative to financial performance, sales execution, and operational excellence.
* Schedule regular branch visits to assess store operations and to promote communication and employee satisfaction.
* Schedule Sales Rep ride-alongs to assess Sales Rep effectiveness and to provide coaching.
* Collaborate with the Region Safety Manager to ensure the support of prescribed safety programs, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, and DOT regulations.
* Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing sales growth and program improvement.

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Marketing.
* Must have sales management experience of greater than 7 years.
* 5 plus years sales/operations experience is required, preferably in the rental industry.
* Must have strong customer relations experience.
* Ability to influence and negotiate is required.
* Must have strong financial acumen for P&L analysis and business forecasting.
* Ability to think on your feet is a must along with making good business decisions.

Physical Requirements:

In addition to being able to sit, stand, walk, read, talk, write and hear, to perform the essential functions of this job, an individual must be able to do the following additional activities: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and operate in a very fast pace environment. Travel requirements are > 25% including over night or multiple night trips.
