Job Description



Responsibilities:


* Direct and coordinate activities of the Rental Coordinators at assigned rental stores for Fenton and Foristell, MO and Troy, IL.
* Oversee the operation and growth of the business.
* Create and implement policies and procedures to continually create efficiencies in the rental process.
* Review financial statements for controlling expenditures on freight and other miscellaneous expenses as well as other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing program improvement.
* Oversee rental rate consistency and close ratios on the counter by managing calls against wins/losses/dead rentals.
* Customer relations and satisfaction of all customers.
* Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes in coordination with the Human Resources department.
* Invoice accuracy on all billing.
* Create best practice procedure for all outlying locations to abide by.
* Perform any and all duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


* Bachelors degree in Business Administration and/or Marketing.
* Operation management experience of greater than 2 years is required, preferably in the rental industry.
* 5 plus years rental experience is required, preferably in the machine/equipment industry.
* Must have strong customer relations experience.
* Ability to influence and negotiate is required.
* Ability to think on your feet is a must along with making good business decisions.

Special physical requirements:

In addition to being able to sit, stand, walk, read, talk, write and hear, to perform the essential funcitons of this job, an individual must be able to do the following additional activities: occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and operate in a very fast pace environment. Travel requirements are >25% including over night or multiple trips.
